Western Region increases support for aftermarket customers and TPMS programs
Denver, CO (February 4, 2014) – With more than 70 percent of passenger cars and light trucks (model year 2007 and later) in Canada already equipped with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), the need for operational best practices, technician training and consumer awareness is greater than ever. As such, Schrader International, the leading global manufacturer of sensing and valve solutions, today announced the addition of a new Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position in Western Canada.
Filling this role is automotive industry veteran, Aaron Nelson, who brings nearly a decade of experience working with automotive and diesel performance products. Based in Edmonton, his responsibilities include assisting Schrader customers with their TPMS programs and driving sales growth throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
“This position represents Schrader’s continued commitment to the Canadian aftermarket and our support of customers throughout the country,” said Hugh Charvat, president and CEO of Schrader. “The addition of Aaron to our already strong aftermarket team, led by Susan Hitchon, and Pat Hebert in the east, further fortifies Schrader’s leadership position in Canada.”
Each of the three Schrader aftermarket team members will continue to play a key role in implementing new sales and marketing programs throughout Canada. This includes education and promotion of Schrader’s industry innovations, such as EZ-sensor®, the industry’s first patented and programmable replacement TPMS sensor, as well as the complete Schrader TPMS portfolio, air compressors and accessories, and other supportive product lines.
“I am extremely proud to join Schrader, as we continue to demonstrate a strong leadership position in TPMS throughout Canada,” said Nelson. “I look forward to continuing Schrader’s dedication to customer service, product innovation and helping our customers grow their respective businesses.”
